Responsible for end-user computers, servers, e-mail, and applications. Managed and mentored a staff of 8 technical specialists. Led initiative to move writers and editors from a 14-year-old mainframe environment to a modern content management system, and saved over $1M in annual operating costs. The project was honored as the subject of an Inside People story in the 10/16/1995 issue of People Magazine.
